Zilveren suikerklontjestang, J. Gloster Ltd, Birmingham, 1917 modern leaf and meander motifsSilver sugar cube tongs made by the firm of J. Gloster Ltd of Birmingham, active from 1909 to 1949. The tongs are marked with master mark JG Ltd, anchor as city mark Birmingham, walking lion as 1st grade mark and date letter S for 1917. On both sides the tongs are beautifully decorated with an eagle claw, see also the photos. Weight: 12 grams. Dimensions: 8 x 3 cm.
